My name is Karmeishie Bray, but I go by Karm! I cheered for 13 years before graduating, with two years of gymnastics experience and being a two time All-American cheerleader thrown in the mix. I currently work as a UCA staff member and also cheer at ECU where I am studying for my Bachelors of Science in Nursing!.
Tumble/Cheer/Private Lesson Coach
Hi! My name is Joelle Giffin and I have been cheering and tumbling since I was 3! I started competitive cheerleading at 3 and have seen many competition floors including competing and winning at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. I have also made 3 appearances at NCA in Dallas Tx, and competed on a team who won US Finals. I started my school cheer career in Indiana in 5th grade and finished my high-school cheer career here in Oklahoma! I then went on to cheer at ECU where I am currently a Co-captain and have won 2 scholarship awards through East Central for cheerleading! I have been teaching tumbling, cheer camps and clinics for ECU, CEA and Champion for over 5 years now! I absolutely love cheering and getting to coach here at Champion Athletics! I love to teach all things cheer and tumbling, but I also have a great background in Acro Tumbling!!
Preschool Gymnastics Coach
Hello! My name is Destiny Golden and I’m so happy to be a part of the Champion family! I took gymnastics on and off from pre-school to elementary in this very building I coach in now. I was also a dancer at Central Oklahoma Dance Center for 4 years through Junior High and part of High School. I have been coaching at Champions on and off for the past 5 years and I absolutely love it. I couldn’t ask for a better group of kids, coaches, and bosses to be surrounded with every week! My faith is the most important part of my life, and my goal is to demonstrate the love of God to every kid I coach and every person I come in contact with!
Private Lesson Coach
Hello! My name is Julia Quinton, but you can call me Coach Jae. I am excited to be able to coach and help mentor young kids at Champion Athletics. I am 21 years old from Owasso, OK. I recently attended OU, but will be transferring to ECU in the fall. I was a competitive and school cheerleader for 15 years. I was honored as a NCA All-American Cheerleader in 2012, and was awarded best leadership skills. I have won many competitions both on competitive and school cheer teams. I also was a power tumbler. I have coached all levels and ages from tiny tots classes to middle school cheer squads all the way through power tumblers at Spirit Xplosion. My main focus with tumbling and gymnastics is all about proper technique and execution. Making sure athletes are learning in a safe environment while not over exerting their body. Tumbling has always been a passion of mine as a kid, I’m honored to be on the other side providing the same experience as a coach. Thank you and can’t wait to work with everyone!
